FAFSA — Free Application for Federal Student Aid
The FAFSA determines your eligibility for federal grants, loans, and work-study — money applied to tuition, fees, even room and board. Planning on community college, university, or trade school? Apply. It’s easy, it’s fast, and you probably qualify: seniors fill out the FAFSA starting October 1 of senior year, and the sooner you apply, the better. Once a college receives it, they send your financial-aid package.

Scholarships
CollegeBoard covers the PSAT, SAT, ACT, and scholarships. College Depot (Phoenix Public Library) keeps a guide of scholarships in deadline order — filterable by GPA, age, and DACA/dreamer eligibility. Maricopa Community Colleges offer ONE application that automatically applies to hundreds of scholarships (enroll first; these stack on top of FAFSA).
