Giles Glithero • school leader
Giles Glithero, a native of Great Britain, moved to Arizona in 1983 and became a U.S. citizen in 1985. He is a U.S. Army Gulf War veteran. Glithero holds a bachelor’s degree in secondary education/math from Arizona State University and in 2003 was recognized in the "Who’s Who of American Teachers" publication.
Before coming to Apache Trail High School, Glithero served as assistant school leader at Tucson Accelerated High School, another Leona Group school. Prior to his time at Tucson Accelerated, he taught math at Sun Valley High School in Mesa.
