We believe that providing your student with a healthy, nutritious meal on a daily basis will enhance their educational experience by allowing them to focus more clearly in their classes. Throughout the summer we have been collecting the necessary paperwork so that we can help qualify as many students for a FREE or Reduced price lunch.

The following federal forms are needed by ATHS on a yearly basis:

English: 2011-2012 Free And Reduced Price School Meals Household Application
Spanish: 2011-2012 Solicitud Familiar Para Comidas Escolares Gratis O A Precio Reducido

If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Anderson or Mrs. Ebersole at (480) 288-0337

Vending Machines and Soda Machines: In order to adhere to the guidelines of the USDA, ATHS must limit the use of snack and soda machines on campus. The reason for this limitation is that this food items, by-and-large, are not healthy choices and can not be offered in direct competition to the healthy food that is being served during lunch. Furthermore, it is recommended by the NSLP that these items be off-limits before and after lunch. Your cooperation and understanding of these federal guidelines is appreciated.

During this transition, ATHS is looking into the possibility of having a vending machine that will dispense drink items that do adhere to the federal guidelines. Your patience and understanding during this transition is greatly appreciated.
