English & Math Enrichment
Apache Trail believes that students need to be prepared to perform on the AIMS Writing, Reading & Math Tests at the highest level. It is for this reason that we have created several levels of English and math enrichment classes to help strengthen and reinforce the skills needed to meet and exceed the standards. Enrollment in these classes are sometimes made mandatory based on previous AIMS performance, but can also be determined by a teacher’s evaluation. Enrollment can also be requested by a parent or guardian.
Focus on Math: Integrated Math
Integrated math class for our students teaches all the math objectives outlined by state standards for the three and four-year requirements. Topics taught in each class are further refined using the school's own integrated curriculum, which allows the teacher to provide students with specific instruction in their specific areas of need.
