Clubs & Activities
Students Taking Action in their Community is the largest service learning organization in the Apache Junction area. Students at Apache Trail have assisted different community organizations in the past year, including:
- Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation
- Apache Junction Food Bank
- Toys for Tots Drive
- American Cancer Society
- Phoenix Children's Hospital
- Cellphones for Soldiers
- Apache Junction Lion's Club
The students handle all aspects of club and activity management, including task selection, marketing and implementation. Activities planned for this year include working with Habitat for Humanity, Adopt a Highway, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, hosting a canned food drive to help replenish the local food bank at Thanksgiving, and providing Christmas gifts for young boys and girls in need.
