2009 State Champs to host "Wolfpack Champ Camp" with an Arizona Cardinals RB!

The State Champion Apache Trail High School Wolfpack are hosting a 1-day football camp for all area youth football players. Wolfpack players and coaches will be running the footballers through a series of skill building fundamental drills. The AzCAA Class B State Championship Trophy will be on display and the Wolfpack are proud to bring an Arizona Cardinals player out to work with the Apache Junction area youth! Cardinals running back #31 Jason Wright will be on hand working with players and will address the camp at the close of the event. Jason scored 2 touchdowns for the Cardinals last year and is a key special teams player.

The camp will be held at Prospector Park from 9 a.m. - Noon on Saturday, April 17, 2010. All youth football players ages 6-13 are encouraged to attend. The cost is $15 or is included, free, with Black & Gold Youth Football League (BGYFL) early registration on April 10. A camp T-shirt will be provided to all registered players. The Firehouse Grill in Gold Canyon has agreed to sponsor Champ Camp as well as donate 10% of lunch proceeds on April 17 back to the BGYFL and the Apache Trail Athletic Department.
