ATHS would like to congratulate the ATHS Girls Softball team on their first game.  Although it was not a win, the girls learned a lot playing the defending state champions.  The girls showed a lot of heart and improved with every inning.  Way to go Wolfpack.  Coach Cannon and Coach Ingrim are proud of you along with the rest of the Wolfpack.

ATHS @ MALC (out of conference):  0 - 22

The coach from MALC, in Bullhead City, said she sees a lot of potential in our team and thinks we will be successful in our own division.  MALC was the 3A State Champions last season.  ATHS is in 2A.
 
 
– Avalon - School of Cosmetology, will be making a presentation in room 5, Friday, 3/2/2012 at 12:00. All that are interested in finding out more about the field of cosmetology are welcome. If you have a family member that is interested, they are welcome to attend too. See Mrs. Ebersole for more info.
 
 
Attention All Students:  AIMS Writing & AIMS Reading test are
next week:
  • All Freshman will be taking a benchmark Writing and Reading test in
    order for ATHS to gauge strengths and weaknesses.
  • All Sophomores will be taking the AIMS tests for the first time.
  • All Juniors and Seniors that have not yet met the requirements, will
    be testing on the needed day.  Tuesday for Writing and Wednesday for
    Reading.
  • All Juniors and Seniors that have received a passing score for
    Writing will be going on a CAC campus tour on Tuesday.  Make sure to turn in
    your Permission Slip ASAP.
  • All Juniors and Seniors that have received a passing score for
    Reading will attending 2 college presentations for Everest College and
    Chandler-Gilbert Community College.  The presentations will be at the church on
    Wednesday.


 
 
Attention ALL students & Parents:  Thanks to all the students that signed up to help
with the Lost Dutchman’s Days Parade.  Remember that you need to be here
at 7:00 am sharp to help with decorating.  We will probably be done around
11:00.  If you haven’t signed up yet, please sign up so Mr. G knows how many
donuts to buy. Make sure to wear an ATHS shirt, sweatshirt, jersey or school
colors.    Hope to see you’re here on Saturday.

 
 
Attention ALL Wolfpack Members -- ATHS will be participating in the Lost Dutchman Day's Parade again this year.  Thanks to a Wolfpack family member, we will have a 24' trailer to decorate to represent the school. 
This year's theme is the Centennial for the state of Arizona - Celebrating 100 years is the goal.  If you have any suggestions or can provide any help in this endeavor, please let us know by calling 288-0337.

FYI - Time line for the day - Saturday, February 25
6:30-6:45 -- Trailer will be on campus
6:45 - 8:00 -- Decorating the trailer (donuts, muffins, OJ, water provided)
8:30 -- MUST BE LINED UP, Ready to go.
 
9:00 -- Parade starts (usual end time is 11:15 am)

Student can sign up in the front office to help and also ride on the trailer during the parade.
 
 
ALL players interested in playing Baseball and Softball need to attend  Conditioning during 4th period, 2/7-2/9 (Tuesday - Thursday).  The Regular  Season starts 2/13 (Monday).

You must have a  Physical in order to practice on and after 2/13.  Please speak with Mr. Garland or your coaches for more information
